Standard Tuition: $3950
$250 Deposit to hold your seat and a Non-refundable registration fee of $100.
All course materials and textbook rental are included in tuition.
Each subject is taught through a blend of classroom instruction and practical, hands-on training with the equipment, instrumentation, and materials found in state-of-the-art dental offices.
Apex Dental Education offers four semesters per year.
Semesters are 10 weeks long, with testing at the end of the program.
Classes are held on Fridays or Saturdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Each receives a completion certificate from our program and a Registered Dental Assistant license from the Arkansas Dental Examiners Board. Our program and study guides are designed to help you pass any state or expanded functions exam and prepare you to be a chair-side dental assistant.

Week 1 - Introduction to Dental Assisting, Professional and Legal Aspects of Dental Assisting, Anatomy and Physiology, Dental Anatomy
Week 2 - Disease Transmission, Infection Control and management of Hazardous Materials, Surface Disinfection and Treatment Room Preparation, Instrument Processing
Week 3 - Clinical Dentistry, Moisture Control, The Dental Patient, The Dental Examination
Week 4 - Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office, Pain and Anxiety Control, Radiation Safety and Production of X-rays, Oral Radiography
Week 5 - Preventive Care, Coronal Polishing and Dental Sealants, Instruments, Handpieces, and Accessories, Restorative Materials
Week 6 - Restorative Procedures, Impression Materials and Laboratory Procedures, Prosthodontics, Periodontics
Week 7 - CPR Certification Presentation and Exam - Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics
Week 8 - Nitrous Oxide Administration
Week 9 - Final Review of Chapters, Class Final Exam, Lab Final Exam
